You're invited to a party!
There's gonna be a HUGE party! Everyone in the world is invited! What's more, this party will last forever, and will be forever happy and safe. Isn't that AMAZING? Do you want to come? I know I do. Nobody but the host knows when it will start, though. We just have to trust the host and enter the waiting room, because once the party starts, the door will lock.
This analogy is actually a lot like Heaven, except the host is an all powerful, loving, and gracious God. And the fact that the party is literal paradise. In the Bible, the kingdom of God is described like a banquet. Luke 14: 16-17 says "Jesus replied: "A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, 'Come, for everything is now ready.'" In the parable, those invited to the banquet made excuses and didn't come. The person preparing this feast then invited the "poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame."
No matter our riches or our abilities, we are all invited to this amazing feast/party. Someday, I hope to see you there.
